Chris Riddell is a freelance journalist, blogger, poet, and aspiring author. From his base of operations in Toronto he has written for numerous websites and newspapers such as The National Post, Torontoist, and The Grid. He studied journalism at Humber College and also possesses a technical background with an honours diploma in chemical engineering technology from Seneca College. He didn’t like working in a lab, however, so he decided to stick with his true passion of writing. He just finished the rough draft of his first novel which is a period piece about World War 2 and is letting that simmer while he takes on other projects. Besides writing, he enjoys sampling fine scotches and coffees, watching old movies, and cruising around the city on his bike.
