Alan Bottomley operates ‘The Achievement Centre – Your Ambition’
from his home city of Etobicoke, Ontario. Alan is a passionate
person who finds his work to be extremely rewarding.
For Alan, the key to his success is being focused on adding
value to organizations by applying his experience and training to
several areas of business. He spends his days assisting
businesses to improve in the areas of strategic planning,
leadership development and training, and executive business
coaching. He also provides general day-to-day business
advisory services, administers organization and individual
assessments, facilitation services for senior management and
company workshops, and retirement planning to business
owners.
Alan Bottomley graduated from the University of
Toronto in 1974 as a young, aspiring engineer
(BASc) with a specialty in geophysics. However,
after considering opportunities to explore the NW Territories
looking for oil and gas or become a famous weatherman, he switched
gears and joined Price Waterhouse (PW) to become a
Chartered Accountant (CA).
Alan’s extensive experience makes him well suited to help
clients through The Achievement Centre. Alan spent 33 years at PW
(now called PricewaterhouseCoopers - PwC) and was a partner for 21
years. During that time he was exposed to hundreds of different
companies - all sizes, private and public, all major industries.
Alan developed a very broad and deep business perspective. He also
held a variety of senior management roles at PwC (office managing
partner, national HR partner, management committees) in his last 15
years. He still consults as an "executive coach" for many of the
firm's partners.
Alan now spends all of his time doing business consulting in the
areas he loves - helping people and businesses identify and achieve
their life’s ambitions. Using The Achievement
Centre's methodologies and programs, Alan helps leaders in
businesses to achieve results.
