School is Easy is a growing franchise. The company provides tutoring support by B.C. certified teachers in client’s homes in a way that gives clients professional service and flexibility. We can fill short-term or long-term tutoring assignments and match the needs of the clients with the teachers who have the appropriate background and experience. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to provide tutoring services and to manage records and contacts, along with a proven system of record keeping and data management that simplifies my work greatly.
Tell us about your background and experience.
I am an elementary school teacher who retired from the Vancouver School District and decided to use my teaching experience in a new setting. I am able to use my background in classroom and in special education to provide tutoring myself, and my administrative skills as a case manager to recruit tutors, match clients with tutors, and deal with clerical matters.
What do you love about School Is Easy Tutoring?
It’s exciting for me to see a concerned parent get the necessary help for their child and to hear about the positive difference the tutoring sessions have made. Many tutors and families develop long-term relationships and the families appreciate the consistent, ongoing support from a tutor who knows their child well.
I also enjoy the flexibility and low operating costs that this home-based business provides. I am able to take or respond to phone calls or work on my computer at times that work for me. I am in charge of my schedule and have flexibility in deciding when I meet new tutors or clients.
