New Franchisee Announcement
Franchisee: Jienelyn Dimatatac
Territory: Burnaby and New Westminster, BC
DATE: March, 2018
Please welcome Jienelyn Dimatatac as the newest member to the Just Like Family Team. Jienelyn is married to her husband Joel and together they have 2 girls, Jewel and Janel ages 7 and 4. In their spare time they enjoy watching movies and playing together as a family.
Jienelyn reached out to Just Like Family as she is an Registered Nurse and she was looking to build a business she could be proud of and build some equity in. She currently works as an RN and as a Life Insurance Agent for Crius Financial Services Corp where she helps clients sign up for RRSPs, RESPs, TFSAs etc. Her husband, Joel, works as a cook at the Terminal City Club in downtown Vancouver. Joel also manages their other business which is Zero Inch Building Maintenance where they clean and take care of maintenance for their commercial clients. Joel has been doing this for just over 5 years.
Jienelyn has just signed her contract and is now studying the operations manual and getting ready for training, which will start later this week and go into next week. She will be spending 4 days with Razvan (our owner and CEO) in the classroom, then Joanne, our Manager of Business Operations will train her to use our scheduling/marketing system and matching the right clients with the right Care Aides and then several days with Mary our Community Health Director. During her days with Mary, Jienelyn will be going on home assessments, caregiver’s introductions, meeting some of our Care Aides and helping Mary run our booth at local hospitals to help us find more clients. Because Jienelyn is an LPN she has many friends who are interested in working as Care Aides for her so we are guessing her recruiting will come on pretty quickly and smoothly.
Jienelyn is the perfect fit with Just Like family as she is smart, articulate and has the right amount of energy, drive and expertise to get a business up and running. We have no doubt that as soon as Jienelyn completes her training she will be hitting the ground running to meet the social workers at the hospitals, visiting doctor’s offices to explain what we do and how we can help their patients, as well as interviewing and hiring the right Care Aides.
