Tony Grewal has been living in the Greater Toronto Area since 1996 when he moved from Edmonton, Alberta. He is married and has 2 grown up children.
After 20+ years in corporate life which included extensive travelling across the country, Tony decided to go in business for himself and be his own boss. He wanted to be in a franchise business that did not have long real estate leases and huge amount of money tied up in inventory. At the same time having flexible schedules, being home in the evenings, have more time for the family and yet having a financially rewarding franchise business. So he decided to go into the service industry and after looking into a few different franchise opportunities he decided to be a franchise business owner with HouseMaster.
“The reason to I decided to go with HouseMaster Franchise Business was the overall culture of the company. HouseMaster Franchise believes in supporting the franchisees and backs that up by providing training, marketing support, operational & technical support and coaching in all aspects of the franchise business. They continually come up with new ideas, marketing programs, customer appreciation ideas to keep us ahead of the competition.” says Tony.
“They have adopted some wonderful programs such as Satmetrix Net Promoter Score; used by major leading brands to assess customer experience. Having a local head office support in Canada for the Canadian franchise offices is a bonus. We have 2 conferences annually; a full conference with all offices across US and Canada and then a Canadian Conference with more local content. That is the best to having a big picture and learning/sharing experience and then more local focus group learning.” he says.
HouseMaster franchise is the oldest and most experienced name in home inspections business with 35 years of home inspection experience. Over 370 offices have collectively performed over 2 million home inspections, continuing a long tradition of quality and integrity. “If I were to do this all over, I would choose HouseMaster to be my franchisor/business partner, again.” says Tony Grewal.
