Local residents may remember Ian as an executive and head Golf Pro at Horseshoe Valley Resort.
oody’s 1st annual Rib Eating Contest will take place over the Labour Day weekend. According to Maureen “It will be a blast with lots of activities, entertainment and great Bar-B-Q”
Woody’s Bar-B-Q is a thirty year old restaurant chain based in Jacksonville Florida.
Bucking the trends of most United States based restaurant chains Woody’s has actually increased in size during the recession.
According to Masters “The response we have had so far in Canada has been overwhelming. Woody’s will be the only national Southern Bar-B-Q chain in Canada. This is real Southern Bar-B-Q slowly smoked using traditional methods. I was a customer of Woody’s in the south prior to acquiring the Canadian rights and if anyone serves a better product then what we will offer Canadians I haven’t found it”
Masters further states “We have franchise restaurants opening from St John’s Newfoundland to the east and Vancouver Island to the west. And many places in between”
Woody’s offers full service dining, take-out and catering. A large outdoor patio will be open during the summer months.
