BC-based STOR-X Organizing Systems is proud to announce their newest franchisee, Gerry Heinz. Heinz is currently serving customers in Burnaby, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody. According to STOR-X Founder and President, Wolf Nickel, Heinz's background in the book binding industry provides him with the practical experience and strong grasp of business principles that will help him succeed in business ownership.
Heinz found the BeTheBoss website while researching business
opportunities online. He signed up for the mailing list and would
read our emails blasts from time to time. It was one of these
emails that lead Heinz to the STOR-X opportunity. Heinz was
attracted to the franchising model because he liked that the
business infrastructure was already there as he was not interested
in starting a business from scratch.
STOR-X caught his eye because they are a local company that has been in business for many years (although only franchising for a couple). Heinz liked that STOR-X had a low initial investment and required no retail storefront. In addition, he felt an immediate connection to the team. Lastly, Heinz believed he could make a fair return on investment whether he kept the business to one person or expanded with a few employees.
According to Nickel, the "ideal STOR-X Franchisee has to be a good fit with the team, and demonstrate the understanding of the companies core values". In addition to being a personality fit, successful candidates possess sound finances to navigate the start up period of their new venture, are passionate about customer care, maintain an ethical approach to business, have a creative approach to finding solutions to customer issues and are environmentally conscious.
BeTheBoss.ca regularly provides STOR-X with top notch individuals like Heinz which is allowing STOR-X to grow rapidly across Canada. STOR-X plans to focus on franchise expansion in Western Canada over the next year with a particular focus on Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. They have a secondary manufacturing facility planned as they move into the Ontario region in the near future.
