QUESADA MEXICAN GRILL, the award winning Toronto based Mexican
burrito concept has announced it will be holding a Free Information
Seminar regarding franchise opportunities in Ontario. The seminar
to be held at the Toronto Airport Marriott on Thursday October 28
will introduce franchise candidates to the company’s strategic
growth plans, its business model and provide baseline
information to interested franchise candidates. The seminar will be
presented by Tom O’Neill President of Quesada Franchising of Canada
Corp.
Since starting franchising earlier this year, Quesada has
opened an additional corporate restaurant, awarded four
franchises, secured four sites and awarded two development
contracts. According to O’Neill the Company is right on track with
its development plan. Says O’Neill: “Our corporate restaurants
sales are strong and we have established lead flow from every
province in Canada. Currently we are negotiating development t
contracts in Alberta and in Quebec and fully expect to fill our
slate of ten development contracts for Canada by next
spring.
We are now receiving strong interest in our concept and this is
the right time to begin aggressively qualifying franchise
candidates. This is a great ground floor opportunity for someone
looking for a win-win franchise concept. We are currently the least
costly Mexican concept and probably one of the least costly fast
food concepts in the market. We have consciously chosen to
forgo mark ups on equipment, rent and construction not to mention
paying for franchisee blueprints. We think that if we keep the cost
of entry low and help our franchisees make money they will want to
open additional restaurants. That’s a win- win for both
of us. “
Quesada is planning to open 300 outlets across Canada in
the next five years.
