June 8, 2001 - Moncton, NB: Richmond Hill residents will soon be seeing a change in the traditional "square" real estate world in the coming days. Ken LeBlanc, president of PropertyGuys.com Inc., announced today the company is expanding operations in the Greater Toronto Area with a new franchisee who brings sales experience and real estate savvy to the table for consumers who want their own home selling remedies.
"Laura Crawshaw is the proud, new operator of our Richmond Hill location and she can't wait to become part of a wave that has been building over the last few months in southern Ontario," said LeBlanc. "We have locations that are really cooking in the Hamilton, Kitchener-Waterloo and other parts of the GTA, among others and with the groundswell of interest generated by our ability to offer MLS exposure, Laura and her team will capitalize on the momentum already building in some key Ontario markets".
LeBlanc also points out that Crawshaw has earned a wealth of experiences from medical sales that will transfer seamlessly to the world of private sale real estate. From where she sits, Crawshaw will leverage a lot of what she has learned from being in the direct sales trenches as she looks forward to having many face-to-face conversations with homeowners exploring private sale options. Crawshaw also believes the recent Competition Bureau ruling to open the MLS pipeline paints a very different for Canadian homeowners who want the best of both worlds - maximum exposure without having to sacrifice their equity for the sake of real estate commissions.
"Ten years ago I sold my first house and the light bulb went off then. Didn't pay a dime in commission and I started to think that maybe someday I could help others do the same.
