“We’ve been told by our customers for years that we should be bigger, should be franchising,” says Bob Steckle, co-founder of Le Chien Chaud, “now the timing is right and we’re going to franchise properly.”
Beyond their restaurant in Mission, Le Chien Chaud is a mainstay at the Calgary Folk Festival and Calgary Stampede - building a cult-like following with an exceptional menu that includes gourmet hot dogs, malted milkshakes and classic sides.“Craig has been doing this for over ten years,” continues Bob, “he has great insight into the process as well as the mindset of the consumer.”
Currently, Le Chien Chaud is looking for franchise partners for Alberta with the goal of taking their restaurants national shortly thereafter.
