Ken LeBlanc, president ofPropertyGuys.com Inc., announced today Canada's leading private sale franchise network has reached an agreement with an experienced entrepreneur and highly regarded former detective to lead a new franchise in a city that is quasi-famous for hosting the world's 2nd largest rodeo.
"Rod Gehl is the proud new operator of our Surrey franchise and he can't wait to become part of the success we are now experiencing in Western Canada", said LeBlanc. Gehl enjoyed a three-decade career in law enforcement, primarily with the Abbotsford City Police as a lead investigator. During that time, Rod and his wife Janette gained entrepreneurial experience as they launched, operated and sold a successful ski lodge business; one that continues to flourish to this day. From where he sits, Gehl sees PropertyGuys.com as a most timely model given the current market, saying, "I wish a company like this had been had been available when we were selling houses. Janette is also a mortgage broker and together we have seen a lot of the changes happening in the real estate industry from the inside out. The Gehl's are also avid skiers and hikers who enjoy spending time with their two grown children and four grandchildren. They will be attending training next week with other new franchise owners atPropertyGuys.com University (PGU) and plan to launch full time operations in Surrey in September.
