Canada
October 8 /CNW/ - The Melting Pot Restaurants Inc., the
nation's largest fondue restaurant franchise, today announced they will begin
offering franchises in Canada. Franchising will begin in the Provinces of
Ontario and British Columbia, specifically targeting Toronto, Ontario and
Vancouver, British Columbia due to their population density, average incomes,
culture, and proximity to the United States.
"We have received a lot of interest and leads from Canadians in recent
years for the Melting Pot franchise concept," said Dan Stone, Director of
Franchise Sales. "We are energized by the potential with our concept in Canada
and are happy to say that we are ready to begin offering franchises in select
Canadian Provinces."
Canada marks the first ever expansion internationally for The Melting Pot
Restaurants, Inc. The expansion into Canada will potentially serve as a
springboard for other international markets for The Melting Pot. Dan Stone,

approximately 12-15 Melting Pot Restaurants throughout Canada. The Melting Pot
