Individuals looking for an exciting business opportunity in Ontario will now be able to consider new opportunities in an established and growing field.

Canadian Residential Inspection Services, a leading national home inspection company, is now looking for franchise partners to open branches in Ontario.

"Home inspection is one of the fastest growing business opportunities in Canada," said Russell Cook, owner and operator of Canadian Residential Inspection Services. "We’ve partnered with 28 new franchise owners over the past five years and have seen the company expand to cover six provinces. Now the time has come to expand our network into Ontario."

Cook says entrepreneurs have been drawn to his company because it offers benefits new business owners usually don’t have access to, like exclusive training, marketing support, and established reporting programs. He says being part of a national chain means that each franchisee receives on-going support that new businesses need to help ensure they will succeed.

"Buying this franchise was one of the best business choices I have ever made," said James Kane, an RHI who has owned and operated a Canadian Residential Inspection Services franchise in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia for 11 years. "The company makes sure you receive the proper training and continues to be available for ongoing support. Plus I’m in charge of my own schedule."

Canadian Residential Inspection Services was established in 1988. It has a network of independent inspectors who conduct objective, professional home inspections for individuals who are considering purchasing a new home. Because the inspector works for the home buyer - not the real estate agent, a contractor, or seller - the buyer can be assured he or she is getting an unbiased, objective opinion on the condition of the property at the time of the inspection. According to the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors about 75 per cent of all home sales include a home inspection.

"With thousands of homes being sold every day in Ontario, there’s tremendous potential for new home inspectors in this area, and we’re excited to be in a position to help some enthusiastic, qualified individuals tap into this exciting business," said Cook.
