The Lunch Lady has had a busy end to summer with the addition of FIVE (5) new franchise partners after a one week intense training session at the Head Office in the Toronto, Ontario area.  Congratulations to the following new Lunch Ladies (standing from left to right –Ruthie Burd, the owner and founder seated in front);  Sam Habbal (Ottawa, Ontario), Sonja Haelzle (Barrie, Ontario), Jennifer Large (Maple Ridge, BC), Kim Guay (Edmonton, Alberta) and Janice Duan (Calgary, Alberta).  Each one of these Lunch Ladies is also a mom and loves the fact that the Lunch Lady franchise offers them a unique work life balance and meaningful work serving nutritious food to kids at school!

The Lunch Lady brand continues to grow across Canada as there is now greater focus on the  importance of healthy eating and the impact on children and lifestyle.  The Lunch Lady has received demand for lunch service in smaller school communities as well as with daycares, summer camps, workplaces and senior centres.  The franchise model has been recently modified to support these different markets and varied interest groups.

The Lunch Lady is always evolving to the changing dynamics but keeps true to its promise to provide affordable and nutritious food to kids at school thanks to a fantastic network of dedicated franchise partners.  For more information please contact franchise@thelunchlady.ca / www.thelunchlady.ca
