The Lunch Lady “Goes West”

The Lunch Lady franchise offers a unique business model that has wide appeal across Canada. Lunch Lady franchise partners love the fact that the core business is lunch. This means they are not tied to their kitchen operations during the late hours in the day and have the flexibility to complete any administrative tasks at home. The work-life balance is alive and well at The Lunch Lady!

The focus for the past year has been adding new business. More and more Lunch Ladies and Hot Lunch Guys are preparing and delivering their healthy hot lunches not only to schools but also to daycares, the workplace, senior centres and to camp programs. The Lunch Lady franchise now provides a much more robust business adding service to many groups who “lunch”. Lunch Lady franchise partners are enjoying these new revenue streams while still remaining true to the mandate of providing nutritious food and exceptional customer service.

Lunch Lady franchise is now prepared more than ever to expand operations in Western Canada. Although the Head Office is located in the Toronto area, there are now nearly 40 locations in four Canadian provinces; Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta and BC. Notably there are many School Communities in British Colombia and Alberta that are a good fit for Lunch Lady service, and schools are calling! The Lunch Lady is very interested in recruiting new franchise partners to service this demand.

The Lunch Lady will be exhibiting at the upcoming National Franchise and Business Opportunities Show in Calgary at the Telus Convention Centre, Saturday September 20th – Sunday September 21st. The Founder of the Lunch Lady, Ruthie Burd, will be a featured speaker for the Seminar, “Top 10 Benefits of Joining a Franchise”. Exhibiting at the Franchise Show in Calgary will be one of many initiatives The Lunch Lady has planned for the year to promote the franchise opportunity in Western Canada and grow the brand out West.
