WNS Holdings Ltd. owner of WNS Global Services, a leading provider
of offshore business process outsourcing, recently announced
details of a partnership with Church's Chicken. The relationship
will focus on finance and accounting processes for restaurants
owned by Church's worldwide, which includes locations in 16
countries and includes Puerto Rico. The two organizations believe
their relationship signifies the first time a U.S. restaurant
company has outsourced its F&A processes overseas. WNS will
handle operations such as general ledger maintenance, accounts
receivables, accounts payables and bank account reconciliation. As
part of the arrangement WNS also will maintain the Enterprise
Resource Planning platform that provides both technology and
processing services for the finance and accounting functions.
Through the partnership, Church's says it expects to increase
efficiency, which fit within the brand's core value proposition.
Church's also says this agreement will provide it with the
resources and capital it needs to add an additional 15 restaurants
over the course of the five-year contract with WNS. 'This
partnership with Church's is an excellent addition to our growing
list of retail clients,' said Eric Selvadurai, chief executive
officer of WNS' Enterprise Services, the business unit that
includes F&A processes. 'We continue to build our expertise
across functional capabilities and vertical industries. A client of
Church's stature further validates WNS' strategy and reinforces our
belief that our approach is on the right track for WNS and our
clients.' Harsha V. Agadi, president and CEO of Church's, said the
company 'is confident this partnership will provide new resources
and allow us to better manage our business more effectively and
efficiently. WNS has a unique blend of F&A and retail
experience that clearly differentiates it from other BPO providers,
and that is why we chose WNS.' WNS will begin processing
transactions for Church's starting January 1, 2007.
