Melody Leskun founded House Calls Health & Wellness in 2008 when she saw that the public health care system wasn’t providing adequate care for seniors. Being a nurse, she saw how this was affecting seniors every day. Melody’s passion for caring for her clients at home, allowing them to be close to their families, prompted her to launch a seniors care franchise. House Calls is now expanding in response to the growing need for home care services as the baby boomer population gets older. House Calls Health & Wellness was a Top 5 finalist in B.C.’s Best Company for the Successful You Awards by Small Business BC 2012-2013.
