The Coyote Ugly Saloon is a chain of bars (some with restaurants) based primarily in the United States. It is know for, among other things, its bartenders who not only pour drinks, but also perform choreographed dance routines on the bartop. The original Saloon was opened in New York City in 1993 by Liliana "Lil" Lovell. It continues in business today and the chain has expanded to include 18 additional locations throughout the world. The Hollywood film "Coyote Ugly" is based on the original Coyote Ugly Saloon in NYC. Coyote Ugly Whisky just started selling in Canada.

Its pretty easy to open a bar/restaurant. Almost anyone can do it. But, opening and operating a Coyote Ugly Saloon is different. We look for long-term, successful, experienced operators in the hospitality industry. The name "Coyote Ugly" is world famous, which is of course a big help in getting customers through the door, but the franchisee needs to be a good operator to keep those customers in the Saloon and coming back to the Saloon. There are currently no Coyote Ugly Saloons located in Canada.
