The Chachi’s Story

The first Chachi’s opened in 2007 at TD Centre in Calgary, and immediately established itself as one of Calgary’s favourite sandwich providers. The concept was founded on the belief that customers want a premium quality sandwich made with local ingredients. We use local bakeries, cheese makers and butchers whenever possible. Today, Chachi’s has over 10 locations in Calgary and is looking to expand into other Alberta cities.

Our cutting-edge store design resembles a contemporary butcher shop, with reclaimed woods, vintage tiles and filament light bulbs. Staff are dressed in denim aprons with leather trim, and no hat required, which makes your days in the store much more comfortable. Our menu is catering friendly, allowing you the opportunity to build your sales beyond your normal trade area. Investment Criteria

Chachi’s is a competitive offering for the financial investment. We don’t deep fry or require stove top cooking, so there is no costly ventilation required. Additionally, our franchise chain is supported by the Canadian Small Business Loan program, offering up to 90% financing on leaseholds and equipment costs. Applicants are required to have $150,000 in cash, home equity, or unencumbered capital. We can assist you in financing your new business by introducing you to lenders that are familiar with Chachi’s.

Franchise Partner Criteria

Preference will be given to candidates that have the following:

• Full time commitment to the business, working in the store.

   

• Food or retail experience, having worked in busy environments.

   

• Friendly personalities and the ability to connect and communicate with customers.
• Desire to work hard and build a team.
• Passion for enjoying and making good quality food.
