History of Bricks 4 Kidz

In the Spring of 2008 Michelle Cote started Brickz for Kidz in St. Augustine, FL. Michelle noticed a category for “Creative Science” while she filling out forms to become a school board vendor. Michelle remembered how her son loves to construct things with Lego® bricks, and wondered if she could teach a Creative Science Lego® class on top of her usual Spanish class."

Michelle won the bid for both the after- school Spanish and the Creative Science Lego® class. and that summer started advertising Spanish Camp and a Lego® Camp. Three children enrolled in Spanish and 35 children got on board with Lego® camp!

After seeing how much excitement circled around the Lego® bricks, Michelle decided to focus on the Lego® after-school class in the fall and the success was huge. Three elementary adopted her program with about 20 students per class every week. Now, just a year later, Michelle bring her Lego class to 10 schools in the St. Augustine area.

Our Model

Bricks 4 Kidz children’s franchise teaches kids the principles and methods of engineering. Classes are designed for kids ages 3-12, and all use LEGO® bricks as their teaching tool.
