I opened my MPA franchise in 2009. Prior to that I was the Sales Manager for a Direct Marketing Company.

Why did I decide to open a Modern PURAIR®? Because it’s awesome. That’s why! Seriously… They have a very unique and profitable business model.

Air quality is becoming more and more of an issue. As baby boomers get older and environmental concerns become bigger, people are recognizing the importance of good air quality.

When I researched the company, I discovered they also have an incredibly supportive corporate head office. They’ve helped me through this entire process. It’s like one huge family and they are invested in my success. Not just financially, but personally too…

I think another selling feature for me was just how innovative the whole concept is. It’s very cutting edge. We even have advanced Indoor Air Quality electronic testing equipment! The company provides really good training and all the equipment we use is completely state-of-the art.

All in all, my experience has been really awesome. Of course I was nervous making such a big career change, but I knew I wanted to work for myself, and my work/life balance was completely non-existent. I think no matter what industry you’re in; it will always be hard work starting your own business… But MPA’s made it fun too!
